Our resort

Khankhar Uul Tourist Resort

The resort is 280kms from Ulaanbaatar with capacity to receive 80-100 guests in 30 gers. Runs souvenir shop, a restaurant constructed in a huge wooden Mongolian ger, and laundry. The resort is located on the way to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital city of the Mongolian Empire.

Location of our resort is unique by the combination of Gobi desert, plain steppes, rocky mountains and grassland landscapes in 25kms area. The Khankhar Uul tourist resort was open in 2006. The resort is located at the front side of famous Khugnu Khaan mountain.

Also, the highlight of the resort is that 2 old temples – Ovgon and Erdenekhamba are just in 2 kms distance.
